Sub: Officiating arrangement in the grade of   Divisional Engineer

                       The local temporary officiating arrangements in the grade of Divisional Engineer is hereby ordered in respect of the following SDEs, with immediate effect for a period not exceeding 179 days.

                   1) This officiating arrangement is made on local ad-hoc basis and this will not confer any right on them to continue in the post/grade. This arrangements is purely temporary and is  likely to be terminated without notice, at any time .   In view of the operation of the stay of the final seniority list of SC/ST officers drawn by the D.O.T. on 17-01-2007, this officiating arrangement is being made on the basis of the earlier seniority list and is subject to the outcome of the adjudication on the final list.

                    2) On termination of this arrangement the officers will be reverted to their regular posts from where they are promoted unless otherwise ordered in the meanwhile. No Headquarters should be opened without prior approval of Chief General Manager , BSNL , TN Circle , Chennai.

                    3) In case any vigilance/disciplinary case is pending / contemplated against any of the officers or any punishment like stoppage of increment is current , the officiating arrangement should not be given effect to and the fact should be intimated to this office immediately.

                   4) Any request for change of posting will not be strictly entertained.  In case any of the officer is not willing and does not join the new post as stated above , the order will automatically stand cancelled in respect of the officer and the officer will be debarred for a period of ONE YEAR.   

                   5) The pay fixation will be governed by the guidelines contained in the Time Bound Promotion Policy, circulated vide BSNL Corporate Office Order No. 400-61/2004-Pers.I dated 18/01/2007 and subsequent clarifications thereon dated 30/05/2007.

                   6) The officers will assume charge as DEs after getting transferred to the new stations as SDEs, as ordered vide  this office memo no. TSA/11-13/2005 dated      28/08/2007. In cases of the SDEs posted officiate within SSA, the Heads of SSAs are requested to transfer the officers, as per the BSNL transfer policy. Only after getting transfer as SDE in the new station, the officers will assume charge as DEs.

 

                           Necessary copies of the charge report may be marked to this office and to all concerned.

                          Shri P. Sundararaju (Staff No. 18885), posted to officiate as DE Neyveli, Cuddalore SSA,  vide this office Memo No. TSA/10-15/2007 dated  26/04/2007, is reverted as SDE with immediate effect.  On reversion, the officer is posted as SDE Trichy SSA.

                           The date on which above order is given effect may please intimated to this office alongwith charge reports.

                           Sub: Transfer in the grade of Sub Divisional Engineer (Telecom)

      The following transfer and postings are ordered in the grade of Sub Divisional Engineer(Telecom)  with immediate effect.

 

 

                         The above officers should serve in the new stations for a minimum period of two years before seeking transfer to any other station/Unit .

 

                          The Heads of  SSAs/Units may relieve the officers immediately so as to join the new posting and assume charge as DEs on officiating basis within 10 days as per the instructions given vide this office Memo No. TSA/10-15/2007 dated   28/08/2007.

 

                            As per the guidelines issued under BSNL Transfer Policy, the above officers are eligible for transfer benefits.  

 

                        The actual date on which the above order is given effect to may be intimated to this office. The copies of charge reports may be forwarded to all concerned.
